Groceries have always been one of the things I spend a large percentage of my salary on. Because of this, I love to find ways to save money on my grocery bill. With grocery prices going up due to inflation, now is a great time to find ways to save money on your grocery bill. Check out these four tips to save money on your grocery bill.
Using a Spatty to get every drop of your grocery items like ketchup, mustard, mayo, etc. will extend the life of those products and keep more money in your pocket as you will not need to buy those items as often. Up to 25% of product is left in containers when it is no longer easy to get out! Don’t throw out unused product. Spatty it! Save money and get every drop!
When you can buy in bulk, do it. Stores like Costco and Sam’s are great places to buy in bulk. If you do not have a Costco or Sam’s membership, buy in bulk on sale items at the grocery store. This way, you are buying at the discounted price and not paying full price when you need the item again a week or two later.
You can find so many great items at very low prices at discount food stores. Some stores to consider are Aldi, Crest, Fairway, Save A Lot, and Trader Joe’s. You will be surprised by how much you save by shopping at discount food stores!
Using coupons is a great way to save money on your grocery bill. You can find coupons for groceries in the Sunday paper. Grocery stores and drug stores have their own coupons and sale items that change weekly. Often, you can find coupons for an item, plus that item will be on sale in the store simultaneously, so you get significant savings on those products! Couponing does not have to be hard. Find a website that has already done the work for you. In the south, we have a website: southernsavers.com that gives you all the deals and coupons you can use for the week at grocery and drug stores.
